Native to South Africa
Found in wet moist gullies and semi-shady forested areas mainly on the central and north coast.
Form: Twining stems up to 3m long.
Flower: Yellow. Winter.
Fruit/Seed: Achene (dry, one-seeded fruit).
Control: Hand - pull removing every part of the stem.
Chemical controls are available. Application by spray is recommended.
